Looking for Lutheran Help
«

A lady I know, named Denise, runs the Lutheran Urban Mission on Sherbrook, near Ellice. She took over in June and has her work cut out for her.
She found out, for sure, now, she's moving, up the road to a place on Ellice, near Arlington. And she'd been caught a tad flatfooted, timewise.
Can I get anyone who is interested to email me please? Cars, people or boxes would be helpful. I plan to stop by 441 Sherbrook Tuesday, around 11 a.m. We're sorta playing this by ear.
Thank you
Heather

I'm pretty busy this week with all the end of term assignments and stuff and exams. Sorry I couldn't be any help.

Actually, an interesting update.
441 Sherbrook has had the rent paid for til the end of this month. They are down the street from the West End Cultural centre. I plan to look into the possibility of that place being accessed from now til the end of the year. I'll let you know if anything turns up.
And presently, the plan is this:
Thursday night (tonight) 6:30 meet at 441 Sherbrook to move boxes.
Friday afternoon, starting at two, the moving men come for the rest.
I'm watching this situation closely because this Denise is working on some ideas to connect community. Perhaps these places could be accessed, for ummash.org She is moving to 743, I think, Ellice, where an Aboriginal group (recently vacated) used to be.
Also, in the realm of all things Heather, I'm involved with aceart.org. They're having an art sale on Friday night. Check it out, if you wanna. Thanks. Details, I bet on the website.
