Hey everyone,

I just wanted to let you all know about this great show I saw on PBS - Nova: Intelligent Design on Trial. It's a documentary about the trial in Dover, PA in 2005 where the school board tried to have intelligent design taught in science classes. I caught the first hour and it looked really good. The next time it's on is Sunday at 2:00 pm on PBS.

You can read about it here: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/id/

It's an awesome show! I'm pleasantly surprised to see there are still reasonable people in the US who had the courage to make this program. After seeing Bill O'Riely, Ann Coulter and the kind of president that they'd elect for two terms, I get very discouraged about our neighbours to the south.

This documentary was a breath of fresh air.

It actually did a good job of explaining evolutionary theory, and the true face of neo-creationists/intelligent design proponents,.

Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful.
