He also needs money

Yeah, he wants us to"give till it hurts". I heard that at the Springs Church they make you give like 10% of your annual income just to be a member. I don't know if this is true but it seemed plausible. Nothing like good old-fashioned tithing.

Also this is a bit off-topic but I was looking around the Springs Church website and they have a hotline where you can call and request for people to pray for you. They have an urgent and non-urgent line, so they can prioritize praying for dying people over people just hoping for that big promotion. Weird.

I wonder if they ever get prank prayer hotline phone calls...  "...And let us pray for I. P. Freely, who suffers from a life-threatening case of overactive bladder syndrome..."  Grin

I have my own little reasoning that goes like this.

If god does in fact exist, and he did in fact create me, at the very least I could conclude that he instilled a constant curiosity about the universe in me. This supposed god would also realize that I am a systematic individual [ as a result of curiosity] and I only believe in things that my senses perceive. I proclaim that because I cannot perceive a god, I cannot follow something blindly. Therefore, could such a God realistically condemn me to hell when I am a product of something he started?
Only if this god has a solid affirmation in faith, but that's a little unrealistic.

Either way I win.

I really don't wanna pay money, let's try springs.
